When people buy expensive bags,goyard trunk, they expect it to withstand ANYTHING given the high price. But I think most of these bags are no sturdier than a a thick canvas bag (like those Steele bags at J Crew). I ve learned that the hard way :( Yes, it s well made and has better construction but it doesn t mean it s invincible. TBH I feel like the age of truly luxurious bags are gone with very few exceptions like Hermes, etc.
