That s nice of you :) I doubt it, it s just nice to be empathized with. I know it seems really petty but their customer service didn t seem to get how awful it felt to have taken all the right steps over a period of MONTHS only to be let down on their end.
I agree with all these ladies. Our bags are beautiful and special to us. Like anything special,goyard usa, we want to protect them. The older I get the more special they are. I recently went through my closet and realize how many great bags I have. I too have brought them out of the darkness. Now I select outfits to wear my bags with rather than the other way around. Some brands are still solidifying new direction via creative directors or reinvention of the brand aesthetic, while others continue to do much of what they\'ve done for years before. I m assuming that a small problem like a missing screw can be solved in a matter of minutes, and UPS/DHL can move a package across the US or across the Atlantic in a day or two. So unless something catastrophic happened to your bag, I expect that the turnaround time be 1 week to 2 weeks, max. And NYC is hardly the middle of nowhere- it s a major fashion capital and surely the luxury retailers there have partnerships with authorized repair workshops and such.
I totally agree! I went into Chanel the other day and they had received more le boys priced at 3800 euros. The inside lining of the bag was fabric (not even leather!). The bag felt too light and the chain felt somewhat cheap. It really didn t feel as nice as the other Chanel classics in terms of quality. On the other hand, the Diorama is so stunning and the craftsmanship for that bag is just out of this world. I used to think at first that it resembled the Boy too much, but after trying it on at the store I fell in love with it. I like it a LOT more than the boy now and to be honest, I m starting to feel that the craze around Chanel has become too much somewhat over it . Dior is fresh, less people have it and i prefer to be different!
